The Intra-University Capture the Flag (CTF) Contest at BGC Trust University Bangladesh is an ethical hacking competition that challenges participants to demonstrate their expertise in areas such as web security, forensic analysis, cryptography, OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), and reverse engineering. Participants will engage in a series of technical challenges to capture flags, either working solo or in teams.

The registration and participation fee is completely free.
Solo or Duo Participation
You can participate individually (solo) or with a partner (duo).

⏱️ Contest Format
Duration
The contest will last for 6 hours of intense cybersecurity challenges.
Team Structure
- • Compete solo or form teams of up to 2 members

🎯 Challenge Categories
Web Security
Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in web applications (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).
Forensics
Analyze data, memory dumps, or extract hidden/encrypted information.
Cryptography
Solve encryption challenges, decrypt messages, or break ciphers.
OSINT
Gather publicly available information from the internet (social media, websites, etc.).
Reverse Engineering
Dissect and manipulate compiled code or binary executables to solve puzzles.

Points Assignment
Challenges are assigned points based on their difficulty.
Flag Submission
Points are awarded when the correct flag is submitted.

Flags are in the format: ITC{example_flag}
Partial Points
Partial points may be awarded based on the level of completion.
📜 Rules
Ethical Behavior
Participants must adhere to ethical guidelines. Unauthorized access to university networks or systems is prohibited.
Collaboration
Teams of up to 2 participants may collaborate. No outside collaboration is allowed.
Cheating
Any form of cheating, including sharing flags or using forbidden tools, will result in disqualification.
Flag Submission
Flags must be submitted via the designated platform. Incomplete or incorrect flags will not be scored.
🚫 Prohibited Activities
Network Attacks
Attacks aimed at disrupting the contest infrastructure (e.g., DDoS) are strictly forbidden.
Inappropriate Behavior
Harassment or inappropriate behavior towards other participants will result in disqualification.
External Help
Getting assistance from outside sources (e.g., forums, social media) is not allowed.

Runner-up
The second-place participant/team will also receive a prize.

Prizes awarded to top 3 winners, solo or team.

For clarifications on challenges, a team will be available, but direct hints will not be provided.
